The DigiUGov project was honoured at the UJI International Science and Innovation Recognition Event, organised by the Vice Rector for Research and the Vice Rector for International Relations of Universitat Jaume I in Castellón. The ceremony took place at the UJI Auditorium with the support of the Office of European and International Projects (OPEI) and EuroFUE-UJI.

This institutional event celebrated the research groups and organisations in the Castellón region that have significantly contributed to UJI’s internationalisation through projects within the R&D&I framework program, Erasmus+, and other international research initiatives from 2014 to 2023. Our project DigiUGov, focused on digitalising university governance and strengthening teaching and research in universities across Latin America and Europe, was among the honoured projects.

The recognition of DigiUGov underscores its impact on higher education institutions, emphasising the importance of digital transformation in university governance and the development of digital competences. This award also reaffirms UJI’s commitment to innovation and international collaboration in the educational and scientific fields.

The ceremony concluded with a reception in the auditorium lobby, where attendees enjoyed an exhibition showcasing the history of UJI’s international science and innovation projects. This recognition encourages the DigiUGov team to continue advancing educational digitalisation and strengthening international academic partnerships.
